Automation integration

Slotly + Webhooks

Connect Webhooks to Slotly to fire a real-time HTTP request to your own endpoint the instant a booking is made, rescheduled, or canceled — no polling, no delay.. Webhooks are real-time HTTP callbacks that push each Slotly booking event to any system the moment it happens, so your own apps react instantly without polling. Here's what the integration does and how to set it up in minutes.

What you can do

With Webhooks connected

  • Fire a real-time HTTP request to your own endpoint the instant a booking is made, rescheduled, or canceled — no polling, no delay.
  • Send the full booking payload (name, email, phone, service, time, intake answers, payment status) straight into your backend, database, or internal tool.
  • Kick off downstream automations the moment an appointment changes — provision an account, update inventory, sync a custom CRM, or start an onboarding flow.
  • Pipe booking events into a workflow tool like Zapier or Make using their built-in webhook trigger, then route them on to thousands of apps without writing code.
Setup

Connect in minutes

  1. Decide where the events should go: a URL on your own server or app to receive them directly, or a 'Catch Hook' / 'Custom Webhook' trigger inside Zapier or Make if you'd rather connect through an automation tool.
  2. In your Slotly dashboard, open Integrations, choose Webhooks, and paste in that destination URL. Select which events to send (booking created, rescheduled, canceled) and save.
  3. Run a test booking and confirm the JSON payload arrives at your endpoint. From there, parse the fields you need on your server, or map them to actions in Zapier/Make to reach any other app. Start free at app.slotlyschedule.com/signup.
FAQ

Webhooks integration FAQs

Is Webhooks a native Slotly integration or do I need another tool?

Both paths work. Slotly can post booking events directly to any HTTPS URL you control, which is ideal if you have your own backend or internal tool. If you'd rather not write code, point the webhook at a 'Catch Hook' trigger in Zapier or a 'Custom Webhook' trigger in Make and route the data on to thousands of apps from there.

What data does a Slotly webhook send?

Each event is a JSON payload describing the booking — the event type (created, rescheduled, or canceled), the attendee's name, email and phone, the service and provider, the start and end time, any intake or qualification answers, and the payment or deposit status. Your endpoint receives it in real time, so your systems stay in sync the moment anything changes.

Why use webhooks instead of just connecting Zapier directly?

Webhooks are the lower-level, faster option when you want events delivered straight to your own code with no middle layer, or when an app you use isn't on Zapier's or Make's list. If you mainly want to connect to popular apps without code, the Zapier or Make integrations are simpler — but they often rely on the same webhook plumbing under the hood.
