Is there a native WhatsApp integration in Slotly?
Not yet. Today you connect WhatsApp through Zapier or Make plus a WhatsApp Business API provider (such as Twilio or 360dialog). It takes a few minutes to set up and then runs automatically on every booking. If you'd rather not configure it, Slotly's built-in SMS and email reminders cover most reminder needs out of the box.
Do I need a WhatsApp Business account to send these messages?
Yes. Sending automated booking messages on WhatsApp requires the WhatsApp Business API through an approved provider, and message templates may need WhatsApp's approval. Once that's in place, Slotly's booking events can trigger confirmations and reminders to your clients.
Will reminders include a reschedule link?
Yes. You can include Slotly's unique reschedule link in the WhatsApp message so clients can move their appointment with one tap, which is one of the most effective ways to reduce no-shows.
